We are very pleased to announce the Kitchen Star apron for August 2021 goes to Julie King. In her range of posts there really was something for everyone, from her chicken tikka kebabs, her pan-fried salmon fillets and for those with a sweet tooth of course her chocolate vanilla strawberry sponge, and her train cake for her nephew’s first birthday was also lovely too.
Again, not an easy month to pick a winner as there have been so many incredible contributions to the group. Some of these included Kate Cleathero and Teresa Floyd both sharing their perfect steaks, Michelle Golding with her delicious cottage pie with cheesy mash and her mum was busy again this time making pizzas. Sharon Day tempted us with two treats of lemon posset with lemon shortbread and her chocolate orange millionaire shortbread, and Geoffrey Brock shared his incredible salmon and prawn burger and also his clafoutis.
