May could quite possibly have been the hardest month so far to name our Kitchen Star.
There were simply too many names in contention to mention, but coming close included Debbie Hyett with her fresh cream toffee profiteroles, Teresa Floyd and her rescheduled Christmas dinner and trifle and Janette Akeroyd and her raspberry sponge cake with white chocolate ganache.
In the end, the winner in May had to be Kate Cleathero, who treated us to her slow roasted lamb shoulder, roast pork with crackling, lamb kebabs and a slow roasted beef in red wine but to name just a few of her mouth-watering dishes shared this month.
